I’ve been playing things beta with her since then, because she’s my friend and because she’d never cheat on my best friend, especially with me. Friends are friends, anyway. However, I do care about her a lot, and the way I talk to her lately has been pretty damn beta. I’ve moved away and she lives in another state now, so this is just me regularly keeping in touch with a person who interests me.
